“Water Rises”:

a bittersweet ode to home

Sean Caramore's new release, "Water Rises," is a vivid tapestry of emotion and melody, marking a defining moment in his musical career. This track, deeply rooted in his personal experiences, speaks volumes of his journey as an artist. Growing up in Long Island, Caramore found himself drawn to country music, a passion often at odds with his surroundings. Despite this, he embraced the genre wholeheartedly, inspired by country legends like Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, and Carrie Underwood.

His move to Belmont University was a turning point, where he immersed himself in music, eventually leading to the creation of "Water Rises." The song, representing Caramore's unique blend of traditional country soul and modern flair, is an ode to his hometown, encapsulating the nostalgia and complexities of returning to one's roots.

Caramore's journey is a testament to his versatility and commitment to authentic storytelling. With "Water Rises," he not only captures the essence of his experiences but also offers a universal narrative that resonates with listeners far and wide. The release of this track is a significant step in Caramore's evolution as an artist, showcasing his profound empathy and spiritual depth, and reinforcing his position as a notable voice in the pop-country music scene.

Caramore describes the thoughtfulness behind the track: “‘Water Rises’ is an idea I’ve had for years. It’s a take on the classic saying that something is ‘water under the bridge’ - it's in the past and it can stay there kinda thing. Well, where I’m from there is one bridge to get on and off the island. So, for a song about leaving/going home it honestly fit perfectly. I loved the idea of taking a literal and physical approach to the saying. Essentially, it explores the idea that every time I come home, I am reminded of parts of my past, of things that are still not resolved or settled. It’s deep, it's powerful and I hope listeners will insert themselves into the lyrics and be able to relate in some kind of way. I love where I am from and I would be nothing without my family. But there are a lot of aspects about coming home that are hard for me sometimes, so this song's just honest and real, and so it's for sure a personal one.”

"Water Rises" stands out not just for its lyrical depth but also for its melodic richness, a hallmark of Caramore's musical style. This release is expected to captivate his audience, reflecting his deep understanding of country music's core and his innovative approach to its modern rendition. It's a clear indication of his bright future in the industry, promising to enchant fans and critics alike with its heartfelt storytelling and melodic charm.
