Fernandina Beach

Songwriters Festival

Returns to amelia islands’ shores

The Fernandina Beach Songwriters Festival is poised to enchant Amelia Island once again from April 12th to 14th, 2024, marking its second year as a cornerstone event for songwriters and music lovers alike. The festival, a brainchild of Tammy Rogers King, Sean McCarthy, and Alexandra Maddox, is a celebration of songwriting excellence set against the historic backdrop of Fernandina Beach.

This year, the festival boasts an impressive lineup, featuring luminaries like Tammy Rogers King, Mike Geiger, Thomm Jutz, Dave Gibson, Jaida Dreyer, Deanna Bryant and many more, promising a rich tapestry of musical genres and styles. In a significant evolution, the festival has transitioned to a nonprofit status under The Fernandina Songwriters Foundation, aiming to further support musical creativity and cultural enrichment within the community.

Attendees can anticipate a dynamic array of performances across various venues, providing a unique chance to interact with artists through private events, autograph sessions, and intimate performances. A highlight of the festival is the "Grand Ole Opry Showcase," along with a celebratory closing event aboard the Amelia River Cruise, offering an unparalleled experience that connects music creators with fans in an idyllic setting.

Tammy Rogers King, one of the founders and featured artists, shared her excitement about the festival, saying, "Last year was off-the-charts fun, so I’m totally expecting 2024 to be even greater! Fernandina Beach is the perfect host location for our songwriter festival, and they really show up!" This enthusiasm underscores the festival's appeal and the anticipation surrounding this year's event.

With its blend of intimate performances, private events, and a showcase of talent, the Fernandina Beach Songwriters Festival is poised to offer an unforgettable weekend. It not only highlights the craft of songwriting but also brings together a community of music lovers to share in the joy and inspiration of live music.
